Experience

I have provided Genetics, Introductory Biology, and French tutoring in a formal classroom setting and in private one on one sessions. Biology and French are my favorite subjects so I am excited to tutor in these the most. I tailor my tutoring style as much as needed, in order to help each and every student learn and excel on an individual level. That requires adjusting my own methods to specific learning styles and I very much prefer to work in this way. I can also apply my knowledge of Italian language and culture to my tutoring sessions.As a college student, I attended California State University Northridge and have a master's in Molecular Biology. I also earned my bachelor's degrees in French Language and Literature and General Biology. My education has expanded my knowledge in my strongest subjects. I can therefore provide my students with knowledge and instruction that will help their present and future academic pursuits. Experience in a few subjects and in French and Italian enables me to help on more than one level.I currently live in Reseda, California and enjoy reading, cooking, and yoga in my time away from tutoring or my own studies.
