Experience

I'm a tutor who invests myself in the success of my students, and I believe that every student deserves quality education. I have seven years of experience in teaching math at the middle school and high school levels. I've taught everything from AP calculus down to seventh grade math during that time. I've learned that students better understand and retain information when concepts are tied to their applications in the real world, so I always work to incorporate skills from real life into my lessons. I also enjoy helping students develop study skills and prepare for the SAT and other exams. My interests outside of academics include restoring furniture, knitting, camping, and hula hooping.
